Social Responsibility

Giving back to our communities is the way we do business.

Building Community. Our firm is committed to being a good neighbor and making positive contributions to the communities where our families and clients live, work and play. We accomplish this through our commitment to:

Volunteerism We create community by offering partial pro bono architectural work to non-profits and neighborhood organizations. The following is our portfolio of pro-bono projects:

  • Naropa Institute: Art and Dance Studios at the Dairy Center for the Performing Arts
  • Shotoku Children’s Center: Classrooms, Administrative Offices, and Family Gathering Room
  • Indian Hills Neighborhood Water Association: Waterline Extension Project with ownership donated to the City of Lafayette
  • Friends School: Special Use Review
  • Blue Sky Kindergarten: Special Use Review

Contributions. We create community by participating in our client’s charitable causes. We like to do special things with our clients, and recently attended and contributed to The Peak Arts Ball and Auction. Helping other creatures is a natural part of creating community, and we recently contributed to the Humane Society’s Building Campaign.

Giving back to the clients that have supported our company, and contributed to our success, is something we love to do. We often buy back services from our clients; such as photography, haircuts, spa services or beauty supplies. We often refer our client’s services to others; such as contractors and landscape designers. We believe in loyalty and long-term friendships. We want our clients to know that their friendship is valued.
