Biography

With over fifteen years of architectural experience, Catherine founded her own firm in 1993. She has purposely kept it small to stay intimately involved with designing and building each project. She is an independent, imaginative, and flexible thinker who is passionate about her craft. She is known for her attention to detail and collaborative way of working with clients and contractors.

The majority of the firm’s work is residential – new houses, renovations, additions – and smaller commercial and institutional projects. Catherine believes in the power of design to responsibly shape environments and experiences. Her design solutions acknowledge the blurring functional boundaries between life, work, and play.

With an interest in researching future design trends, sustainable building opportunities, advanced technology tools, and new architectural delivery systems, Catherine is evolving her practice to meet the challenges of the 21st Century.

Catherine was born in Canada, grew up in Florida, and moved to Colorado in 1974. She is married and has one son. In her leisure time, she enjoys world travel.
